Hey all,

We are thinking of moving away from our current dedicated provider in Miami, to W3Media.net in Vancouver, Canada. But I havn't been able to find any comments on them on this forum.

If anybody has had any experiences (good or bad) with them please post or PM me.

Much appreciated!
Cody

Anybody?

I googled them and only found a few interactions between them and spews. But beyond that I couldn't find anything else.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to search for history/reviews on them?

Thanks.

I was under the impression that all bandwidth costs 'an arm and a leg' in Canada, so i wasn't too woried about those costs. I was just worried about any past issues, etc.

they are not a rip off... please dont say such things just because you are used to the cheap mostly kiddie hosts of WHT.

That is a normal price, I havent heard anything bad about them.
Do they have a forum?
Post in it and see the responses.

Indeed they are more pricey than a lot of others, but then again when you pay more you generally get more in service. So I'd imagine they'd be much better than the kiddy hosts that seem to live in these forums.

Not pricey at all if you consider the bw cost in Vancouver, Canada. Don't go and compare it to Rackshack.

May I asked why Vancouver, Canada? Are you running online Casinos? People pay huge premium to be in Vancouver, Canada because laws here allows it.

Actually we target customers in British Columbia, so over 3/4 of our clients are within the province. And having our servers locally would allow us better support/interaction with our data center, etc.

Mind you, they don't have big name bandwidth. They use BigPipe and Telus Advanced Communications. They are by no means a 'large' data center like RS and Interland. But I believe from talking to them that they provide a more personalized service, friendly support, etc.

I believe they are very popular host with our local Asian community.

Peer1 and DataFortress were a little bit pricey I thought, so I started really looking into this company.

Peer1 is quite expensive, but I have a friend that have a rack in it. PM me your contact info, and I'll send it to him. Maybe you guys could work something out.
