I have a server and I want to CAP IPs to a certain speed,
you know, like Cobalt allows you to do....

But HOW?

(It's a RedHat 7.0 server with Webmin)

You mean like cap 1.1.1.1 to 128kbps? Through RedHat?

Never heard of it being done before like that. Not sure if it's possible.

If you want propper control then the new linux kernels have support for packet shaping which may be what you are after. Have a look here.

http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/Adv-Routing-HOWTO.html

Might not be what your after. A webmin tool to play with this feature of the kernel is in development.
