cool little thing you got here.. I went ahead and got rid of my google bar, and went and installed yours since you said yours provided google results.

Question.. why am I not getting google results? It takes me to results on your site, and when I compare your results to googles they are different. I would stay using your tool bar and all, but I want to make sure I am really getting true google results.

How is the time spent online calculation done? I mean, it is so not measuring the way I believe it should or would be. I mean, take for example the last 30 minutes I have been reading WHT. I am only showing a time of 8 mins according to TopSurfer. I dont get it?

Ok thanks for your questions.

First, it does provide google results, but the first 10 are sponsored. So anything after that will start from #1 on google results.

Second,

The time is not counted if you are just staring on the computer screen. You have to be doing something such as typing, browsing, moving your mouse, etc... This way its counting active surfing not active reading or sleeping. ;-)

We then weight each statistic differently to provide the final score. Which we will keep secret to prevent cheating. :-)

Thanks for getting back to me.. I sadly will not use it however as I just don't go for the sponsored search results thing. I am too picky I know. Its a cool program, and I know that the sponsored listings and stuff generate money for you, and support the program and so on.. but you know how anal some of us geeks can be about getting exactly the info we want with the least amount of effort as possible.

My timer died at 1 hr. 9 min. 51 sec about 4 hours ago and even closing and opening my browser won't kick start it. I broke it!
