I currently host 58 sites on 1 RaQ4i with 256 memory at RackShack.net. I am using 49% of the memory right now. So when I get up to about 100 sites I'm going to have to get some more memory (or before then). But I figure why upgrade to 512 memory for $69/mo when I can get a whole second server for only $99/mo. But now my question is...is there anyway to integrate these 2 servers? Can I manage them both at the same time? Or can I have one mirror the others? How about load balancing? Or do they just have to be completely different servers? Any help is greatly appreciated.

:emlaugh: hehehe
These are RaQ's, meant to be simple... These really aren't machines to be doing load balancing and mirroring. I'd just keep them seperate (as I currently do) and just admin them with their Panels... Eventually you'll get sick of the buggers, I can't WAIT to get off these RaQs.

My suggestion is to use the first server for DNS. Keep all of the DNS records there and then setup the 2nd server just to hold new accounts. This would work for hopefully an unlimited number of additional servers.
We have about 350 DNS records on 1 raq... no problems. :)
It would be interesting to know if there are limitations though.

Michael-MS,
We are currently using Rackshack's DNS server, but plan to start our own again.

Are you using the standard DNS/bind setup on the RaQ, or something like tinyDNS?

We're using the standard DNS configuration that is setup with the GUI.
