Secured-Net.Net is going to be bought by another host (my personal adult site hentaineko.com is hosted there). I haven't heard any news from them yet as to who's gonna buy them but just in case... I have been looking at different hosts (that allow adult content).

I came across 3 sites through WHT:

1. IIC (http://www.adult-web-host.net or http://www.web229.net or http://www.iicinternet.com)

2. Ecommercediscovery (freeva's hosting service
http://www.ecommercediscovery.com)

3. Eagle Web Services (http://www.ewsnl.com) - I'm reserving this as a last resort because the price is really steep for adult hosting (additional $10 from the regular pricing structure and I don't even earn much from the site--I'd be lucky to get $2 per month off affiliate sales).

I'm worried about yearly or more-than-a-month contracts, but I'm willing to give it a try if somebody could verify the reliability of any of these hosts.

As I've said before (maybe a search will bring up my comments), my very first host was #1 on your list. Since it was so long ago, I'm not certain that any of my comments would really help (this is pretty much all I said in the other posts actually). Being curious as to what they are up to now, I searched google and found one site that menioned what hosts they had tried, web229 was on the list and the comments weren't favorable and sounded similar to my experiences to a degree.

If you go with them, realize that they are cheap, don't expect much (in terms of support), and make sure you can't log into other sites' mail settings (as I could when I was there). At the time sales@ support@ 911@ were all forwarded to the same address, not sure if that is still the case. As I said, it was quite a long time ago (over 2-3 years).

What about ecommercediscovery and Eagle Web?

I'm not entirely sure there are many ewsnl users on the forum. Leslie is relatively new to WHT, but after a bumpy start with the forums, has posted a great deal and offered to help others whenever he can. If that's any indication of the service he provides, then I'd say they are worth taking a look at. I've never used 'em.

The other, I don't recall much about. Not entirely certain a representative is a member, or if I've just seen the name a few times. As more hosts come, it gets harder to keep track of.

I know that searching for a host is somewhat like searching for a dentist, in that, you really never want to go there, but if you find a good one the whole experience can be relatively painless. Having used web229 in the past, if it were me, I'd give ewsnl a shot rather than choose web229 again. I'm not sure if they've changed but I'd be open to looking for something else. Sorry I can't be of more help.
