Guys I know I was told to use word of mouth for advertising, but I was just wondering if there is place where i can actually post what my forum is about and literally tell them my url.

Why not put it in your signature? And i dont mean just WHt - in EVERY forum you post in, and in EVERY peice of email you send out - advertise your forum :)
