Get an enom reseller account. Ask someone in the related offers and request forum, people are always anxious to give away the accounts so they make some $$$.

You can get your own eNom $8.95 Reseller account directly from eNom, if you choose to. They will ask for $495.00 USD upfront, as a setup fee, and provide you with 55 Domain name credits. After the 55 credits have been used you can add money to your account; minimum is $100.00 and all funds are USD.

There are people selling Reseller Accounts, as already mentioned so do a search "enom" to find them, and there are Hosters who provide this service with their Reseller Accounts.

I didn't see a $6.95 but a $6.99

If you sign up fresh today as a Reseller and send in a deposit of $75, you will qualify for the $6.99 per Domain Year pricing.

To get the $6.69 pricing you have to make a prepayment of $669
for $79.90 you get a $7.99 account but these prices are only for .com, .net, .org... others like biz, info and .us is from $11.99 to $7.64.

That's correct, I said prices "as low as" and prepay "minimum" :)
Anyway, Serverspot should go to their site and read all details, I was just pointing a posible direction.

for directi, $75 is a reasonable price.
compare to enom 8.95 reseller have to add fund of $100.

Since you intend to be a reseller, prepaid $75, you can buy around 10 domains. Surely you will be able to sell 10 domains.

There are many available programs but definitely, the best is enom. If you don't want to pay high deposits to enom just signup through another reseller.

Enom. THere is a reason a huge number of domaineers use them.

Directi requires you send them US dollars, which are converted to rupees. For your $75 you will actually be credited around $65-$67. When you get paid they pay in Rupees and it converts back to US $.
THis may have change but something to consider.

it cannot be like you send $75 and you get credited $65-$67 ... it must be around 2.5% - 3% forex charges...

You dont have to make a pre-payment of that to get 6.69 domains, but you have to spend that much over time to get to that level of pricing.

Meaning you can start out selling domains that will cost you $7.99 and work your way down to the $6.69 level over time. Thats what I did 3 years ago. ;)

What is the big advantage of enom over some of these others? I don't see how the $500 up front expense is worth it when reseller accounts elsewhere may go for $100 up front and still get the $8 or so per domain. Afterall, is the few cents difference between $7 and $8 worth it when you sell them for $15 ea anyway?

I have got a suggestion, as right now you have got all the information about the different registrars' prices, you need to know their services, pretend to be their customers and send them some letters to have a test before you decide anything :) Good luck!
