Hi,

I'm not sure if this is possible, but it's happening...
i cannot get into my own site and it's hosting company's website (*****) so i can't even open a support ticket... when everybody else seem to be having no problems... i can see this by testing on other machines, and by looking at the thirdparty stats like, Hitbox and LinkExchange...

The error I get form my site is, Server time out... I can access mail and FTP with no problems... and it was working fine till a few hours ago... Also, I can access ALL other websites with no restrictions at all... Only my site and the hosting company's... :bawling:

Does anybody have an idea as to what's happening? Is it possible that they've banned me from getting to my own http server?

Any help is appreciated!

hi,

have u tried from other machines? like if it's the same case as me...?

please let me know...

ps. im fed up of hosting on windows.... i have another site on linux, it sure is better... jsut that i'm stuck with it, once u use windows based host for a while, all the stuff like scripting and database are too microsoftized and it'll take too much time and effort to transfer to a linux based host...

Ahh well, you switch to Windows and you'll never want to go back.

Highly unlikely that they banned you. Sounds like a socket error on your site, or the server hosting your site is down. Unfortunatly, NT machines are horrible for uptime-but then again i'm biased.
Good luck with your site,

David K.

Is your site supposed to look like that? I mean, it has nothing but ファンキー・エッグ・ネットワークってなに on it, and then:

Powered by slick board v.0.0.1 (not just a discussion board, it's slick!)
Copyright ゥ 2001, Funky Egg Network. All Rights Reserved.

I'm currently with the same host, and I've been down now 5 days with brief moments of uptime - though I cannot access my perl scripts, and receive 500 internal errors throughout. I even found one of my files (through ftp) that had a lock put on it, and it wasn't by me.

I've been pondering paying a visit to their offices to tell them to either cough up a working website, or a refund...they are about 10 minutes away from my house. Oh, the temptation!

Are you seeing #'s and numbers or characters?
The page is in Japanese so unless it's installed locally you'll see nothing but 'rubbish'

Note: Most likely NOT caused by Code Red. ***** experiences regular downtime just for the fun of it everyday.
