Hi, I'm curently looking for a host that allows multiple domains on the
same account along with the following features:
- Mysql databases, PHp4, CGI, etc...
- 100MB Storage
- Around 5GB Bandwidth (possible to increase in a easy way)
- control panel to control the hosted accounts! (cpanel,etc...)
- no setup-fee
Also please don't point any reseller hosts!
Thanks in advance
Jusit
OBS: Extra 1GB Bandwidth cost below $5

you need to post this in the advertising section. I uhh... know of a host .. erm... but I cant mention the hosts name in this secion:D

TechnoHosts,
I believe you CAN and are allowed to mention a host name. What you are not allowed to do is advertise yourself. (Mods please correct me if I am wrong)
Anyway. I believe I have heard that Aletia offers multi-homed domains. You might want to check them out.

Well I've checked TechnoHosts, and it doesn't fit what i'm looking for (I don't want to make an year contract, but pay montly)!
And Aletia offers 3 but :
"Multi-hosted domains do not have their own POP email accounts. However, any email that is sent to multi-hosted domains will be automatically forwarded to your main domain's POP account. " :(
Still looking ...
Jusit,
It will be very tough to find a host that offers multi-homed domains with totally independent subdomains, email services, traffic reporting tools, etc. I think you would basically need many different accounts.
TechnoHosts: I hear you :D
bert: I don't wish to have diferent subdomains, but something like:
www.mysite1.com
mail@mysite1.com
www.mysite2.com
mail@mysite2.com
:)
But If I don't find this, I guess I will go with a host like Aletia (are they resellers of Ventures Online?)
The thing is that when you have more than one domain sharing the same account *usually* but not always some functionality for one of the domains is lost. I know this issue about the email for one of the domains being sent to the other domain's default email account is a limitation of CPanel, the control panel used by many hosts.
Aletia is not a reseller, they have their own equipment I believe. You might want to ask that to Mark Vockler, he hangs around these forums. I believe he is the owner of one of the owners.
Good luck. :)
