Hey there,

A few days ago a client asked us if we could provide JRun on one of our servers, and of course that they would cover the software costs.

Setting up JRun was very straight forward, needed to download a Java client then just followed the process outlined in the manual.

And now everything is installed, however I have a few queries:

Do you provide users with access to the control panel? If so exactly how? All I could do was give them access to the entire JRun server, which I really don’t want to do :).

If you don’t actually need to give users control panel access, is there anything that must be done manually for them? I've heard something about configuring applications?

Anyway, any advice at all on this matter would be appreciated :).

If they pay for the software, why won't you give them full access to it?

Well because they are one of 5 clients on that server and the control panel gives too much access to the server itself. Plus if anyone else on the server wanted to use JRun that would be a problem.

Just shot a message off to another couple of forums but this one really has me confused. It seems JRun is rarely used these days.
