For 2 days accounts only cost $20 rather than $50 ... hurry get your account before the discount expires... then accounts will cost $50 again!

Hi all,

I know what you've been thinking about revecom .. instabill... and other crappy third party cc processors. And you all say "why the f**k do they put up those hideous forms which say 'Blah is an autorized sales agent for blah'". And on top of that they charage a monsterous 10% commission! Well those days are over.. introducting PowerPay.

http://acenet-enterprises.net

1) No hideous forms
2) VERY VERY LOW transaction fee
3) NO MONTHLY fee
4) Already served quite a few merchants :)
5) No mention of my website on yours!

Transaction fees:

3.5% + $1.50 is credit card processing fees and 6.5% upto a maximum of $3 is commission. Compare with instabill.com and revecom.com these are much lower! Remember it looks like u have your own merchant account! There are already quite a few happy merchants using my service. Ask them and see.

Looking forward to all those signups.

I just want to put the good word in for ADE. I am currently working with them to replace instabill.
Here is a preview of the form we did http://www.technohosts.com/order/order2.html
the cool thing is that the forms are on your website and all.

Using kagi is good.

Did a lot of searching for e-commerce stuf awhile back and ended up thinking kagi looked the best but was definately not the easiest looking solution to integrate. Looked like a VERY sound company though.

good luck ADE, hope to have a reason to seek your services in the not too distant future :D

Let's do some simple math here.

Assume a charge of $29.95.

Instabill would take $3.00
PayPal would take $1.22
Acenet would take $4.35

Plus they keep another $1.80 for six months to cover chargebacks.

Here is how I figured (please correct me if I erred):

Instabill charges a flat 10%.

29.95 * .10 = 3.00 (roundup the half penny)

PayPal charges 2.9 percent plus .35 each transaction.

29.95 * .029 = .87 + .35 = $1.22

Acenet charges 3.5% plus $1.50 plus 6.5%.

29.95 * .035 = 1.05
29.95 * .060 = 1.80
plus the $1.50

total = $4.35

Am I missing something here? Please help me to understand this persons offer.

And the reason they put up the words "authorized agent for" is because they are required to in their contract with their bank.

Thanks,
John

just curiosity - why donīt u use the option to accept creditcards yourself ?

iīm in europe and i do it by mailorder ( get the info from my SSL site - fax it to the creditcard company and get the fax back ( max. 30 mins later) with accepting payment or not. Thats much cheaper.

I pay 3.5% (from the amount) on a per month payment.

Just curiosity

Why don't they just say 10% + $1.50? Either way, those rates sound outrageous...

Maybe he made a mistake?

The 6.5% commission is capped at $3.00 so on higher priced items, it becomes less of a factor. But for those of us in webhosting where the average charge is around $20, it really would not be feasible.

what do you think about my reply? accepting payments yourself?

ZYE while that is a viable option of course, the thread was started by a person who offers a different service. If you would like to pose that question, maybe it would be better in one of the main forums instead of in the Ad. Forums.

I dont procces ccs my self because do you have any idea how many darn contracts you have to sign? The amount of contracts and liability deposits you have to make are enough to drive anyone crazy. Besides as all of you know Im in Pakistan and getting that type of merchant is not possible.

by the way.. those people selling low cost webhosting:

Im currently negotiating a deal with my sp, so that i can bring you
a processing rate of 5.5% instead of 6.5% or one consolidated percentage. You guys can signup without any fears and understand that my service is best for u :)

As I said before it looks like the customer NEVER left your website.
This type of service does'nt come often. As we're powered by a "rock-solid" company you dont have any risks. Since my post here i've had a few signups :)

OK take a look at: www.technohosts.com/order/order1.html
if the transation suceeds the url redirects straight back to
www.technohosts.com/order/transok.html

the api ive made is so flexible that there is absolutely nothing that you cant do with it :)

you can see how it works out. Any one who has any questions please mail me: asher@acenet-enterprises.net

By the way:
the authorized sales agent screen is a way to get more business. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BANK CONTRACTS I KNOW BECAUSE IVE RESEARCHED INTO THIS. If they advertise their service on your orderpage they get more clients. Thats why:rolleyes:

Yes we do. Incase you havent notice kagi doesnt have an API. My service gives people what they want with the features they want. As i mentioned im trying to get a lower fee so it really doesnt make a difference as long as you get the processing done.
KoolGuru ... correct me if im wrong dont you use paysystems.com on your website. And dont you think that the entire order screen sucks?

So guys wanna see a demo.

I don't mind the revecom interface at all, I like customers to know I use revecom, then they trust the billing more because there is a company that is 100% secure rather than my slapping a SSL down, and doing all the charges manually.

Another reason.. automation - I setup accounts and other things manually, so doing the billing is just one less thing, and there prices arn't too bad

bad things about revecom:

- fraud cards and chargebacks = cash out your ass
- can't do partial refunds..

those are the only 2 complaints so far I have.

Asher S

Ahem. My transactions arent manual either. ITs all automated. Infact we even assist merchants in seting up php scripts to automate the ENTIRE SIGNUP! That means your customers will have their webhosting as sson as they pay. I dont see that happening with revecom. My service is MUCH better.
