I have searched all over and cannot find rackmount brackets for a 1U Server. Does anyone know of a place I can get them?

I have a customer that bought his own server but did not get mounting brackets with it.

We are talking about a mounting brackets for a 1U Server to be placed in a standard 19" rack. They should have 2 front mounting holes for the mounting to the rack and 4 holes for mounting to the server itself.

Your help is appreciated.

I would recommend a shelf or rails instead of brackets, 1U servers flex a lot when mounted with just brackets and that's not a good thing. :)

I'd try emailing some companies like featuredservers.com and ask them if they sell them.

You should be able to get some mounting brackets from companies that make the rack.

no wait - that would make to much sense :)

After having problems mounting our Dell kit at the data center, we tried a shelf from racksolutions. It's great so far, easy to install and 1/2 the price of Dell rails. It's what I plan to use for future servers as well.

Also, try ebay. They always have everything ... pretty cheap!
