Well ....... I moved I think now from one host having alot of problems to another. My site and Hostiva's site has been down for going two hours.......I guess another mistake.

Anyone know whats going on?

Yes, I also just moved my site and it has been down for several hours now. A similar thing happened a week ago when it was down for over 4 hours. I hope this is not going be the norm otherwise I will probably have to cancel before the trial period ends - I don't want to be trapped in their long contracts.

It was worth a try....I'm coming from a host with all kinds of problems anyhow. But I won't want to be where once or more a week my site is down for hours....I don't pay for that no matter how cheap or costly my fee's are.

I have found that price has no bearing on the up time. I have been with expensive AND cheap hosts. Some of the so called quality hosts are just as bad. I have one site with ValuableHost, and they have the best up time of all the hosts I have been with - and they are hardly expensive.

Hostiva is up again ...

hmmm.....4 hours of downtime today that I know of....

Did I make a mistake going there?

I would say 6 hours, at least.
