Hello, I'm sorry to post totally something that has nothing to do with this forum. But it seems that I have nowhere else to turn to to ask for anyones help about this topic. So I would appreciate it if this post was not deleted.

I registered for a year subscription for a game at www.graal2001.com, 6 months later I was banned from the account with the reason "Don't want this guy on graal" the owners never really liked me because I ran the most popular community websites and they want to run everything themselves.

Then when I emailed them, icqed them, tried everything to contact them without a responce I posted on their message board for registered users.

They deleted my posts and banned my forum account. Then later changed the ban reason to "credit card fraud" now I take this very seriously since they are accusing me of criminal activities without proof. The manager Stephane Porta aka "unixmad" contacted me saying that my credit card company never paid them and I know for a fact I paid because the only way it wasn't paid was if I sent in a complaint to my visa card company for a unknown credit charge.

So after calling visa and me telling him that there were n records he stopped talking to me, never responding to emails, icq message ect. I once again used a freinds account to post this issue later to find the topic deleted once again and them not contacting me which I stated my information a bunch of time in the topic.

This so called company is called "cyberjoueur"

website: www.cyberjoueurs.com

they are in france or something but have co-located servers in america.

Is there anything I can do to report this company of their horrible business practices or anything as to where I can see justice in this all? I'm not the only one who is being taken advantage and the management is horrible.

I don't think they are listed in the BBB website so I'm seriously at loss at what to do. Please help :bawling:

Sincerely,
Elliot Svec

They live in France you live in US if you really want to go through all this trouble?

It will take a long time until something is resolved.

Aloha
well if this is true and you have a popular forum let people know what they did
and then send out there website on a bunch of hacking IRC that they say they are hack proof and nobody can hack em
heheheheh
the later would be mean but funny
but if they are out of US chalk it up to a learnign experience

Probably dont even need to lie, just put breif details about their treatment of you. It is my understanding most hackers just love the excuse to teach someone a lesson. :D

This must be a really weird game. This quote is taken from step 3 of the sign up process:

STEP 3: READ CAREFULLY THE PERSONAL CONDUCT POLICY BELOW
Swearing and vulgarity is a sign of immaturity. It is not an expression of free speech; however even if it was, the Graal Online server is not public property. As much as many kids would like to believe that vulgarity is a part of everyday life, most people eventually grow up and give it up.

The administrators of Graal Online will not be responsible for corrupting of young minds. We know that sounds harsh, but the way Graal is right now: the longer you play, the meaner you get. The vulgarity and harassment is so out of hand that if you spend enough time online you are bound to be influenced by it. Furthermore, this graalian attitude is ruining the game for mature players. Respectable people don't want to play Graal, because Graal is filled with disrespectful people.

The Graal game engine has only gotten better; while the quality of game play has continued to decline. Think back to the days when you started playing graal (assuming you started pre 1.1). A newbie was welcomed into the game world by nice people who were fun to be with. How are newbies welcomed today? At sword point.

We are aware that we will lose some players, but we will only lose players who cannot control themselves. These kinds of players are the trouble-makers anyway. They have nothing good to say about Graal, nor the administrators, nor any of the players. If these people left the game, it would make the game more attractive to a more mature audience. Even players who don't like the new rules can learn to control themselves.

It looks like opening an account is free. I guess what you pay for is the upgrade, right? What can you do with such an upgrade? Did this allow you to offer the game to members of your own big online community? Did you actually loose money due to their closing your account?

Very generally speaking, France is a very consumer friendly country and attorneys are cheaper than in US :)

You get to play on pay 2 pay servers. They are supposed to be better and have more stuff to do on them. But its a lie.

I lost half of the money I put into the account for the year subscription. I mean for a year the price is so cheap. But thats not the point.

Well this is a bad experience coming from France.

(American buisness forever) :D
