This is half webhosting buiss, half tech question. I was wondering if anyone had been portscanned by a client, or a a potential client. Basicly if you block them you might loose a customer, but I guess the otherside to that is, why would you want a client who port scans you? What I guess Im getting at is do you clear the hosts.deny once in a while?

Clients don't scan you they ping you.
If a client wants to sign up with you why would they scan you and see what ports are opened.If they do scan you and then sign up it could be possible that, that client is an attacker.
