Hello......I am new to this board and new to webhosting.
I would like everyones opinion on plesk .
I have heard a lot of great things about the company......I was wondering if anyone would share some expierences that they have had with the company or with the use of the software.

When Plesk came out, we quickly downloaded a 1 site copy and tried it out.
To my knowledge, we had looked at couple similar types of software; ensim, hostingcontroller etc.
In my opinion, although I am not a Techie, or Network Administrator, I found their control panel to be simple looking (not eye candy) but was adequate for a hosting controller. The GUI is plain and straightforward, no fancy graphics.
Considering I didnt have much computer stuff knowledge (I work in the Legal Department of my company), I found the control panel easy to use and without much hassle. The features
Unfortunately, the company I work for nevertheless stuck with Sun Cobalts so Plesk was never fully deployed.
My final word? Plesk is worth going for. It is within price range and it covers most essential requirements for Unix Based hosting in the industry.
