Hi i am making a website called sx.music, I have spent all my money on paying a designer to make me a layout and for the advertising. Now all i need is a domin name, if someone can give me domain name i will give you free advertising on my site(banner on top of the site- on everypage). Nikola, you spent all your money on design and advertising but neglected to save $9 for a domain? Does this sound reasonable?

Did you really have any money to start? How much advertising did you buy and where?

for the layout i payed $150
for advertising i payed per week on a few sites:

XGN.nu $10/week f(starts 1st week of september for 2 weeks)
http://www.cybersportsradio.com/ 15/week(starts 1st week of september for 2 weeks)


as you can see i dont have alot of money thats 250 that i spent, and that is alot for me because i have college to pay again this september where i have $13 000 and i need $15 0000 just for admision and then how ever much the books cost. So if someone can help me out that would be great.

Okay, so you spent all of that cash there, on things that weren't exactly nessecary... but then you didn't think to save $10 for a bloody domain name? Isn't $10 like an hour of work at like McDonalds? Go out and earn it. It'll take about an hour of work. You can do it.

Worse yet, you spend money on a design and advertising while you can't even pay for your education? Ever hear that knowlegde is power? Well, these days those words carry more truth than ever.

Pay your education bills first, then go play with your site. That's my advice.

And if you want to ignore my advice, go visit www.uni.cc and get a free domain.

You should offer something good in return, what can you do?

People would give you a domain for:

- PHP/ASP/CGI Scripting
- Web Hosting
- Logo or Web Design (Obviously you cant do this)

Just some ideas. Borrow $10 from a friend even :s
