Where is the best place to chat web hosting.

Where is all the support for wht, i can only vote once you know.

Chicken is a member of both but in my opinion seems more of a pain in the ass or stricter on this board so i voted freewebspace.net.

Why would you choose webhostdir over wht. Why any of these. Anybody gonna post why?

Well webhostdir.com IMO
is just that--> A webhost DIRECTORY
Quite a difference from wht.
this is all forums, no hosting directory.
There is a nice forum community there though

I voted for my true colors of course... FWS. I mean, this place is cool and all... but to be honest I have nothing to say in most of the forums.

I do think you have a great board there though. Some of the best resources out there on the internet are run by people who haven't made it their full-time business.

Of course, I get a great deal of enjoyment from *these* forums too. But I'm fairly new to this so I suspect my opinions aren't quite as valid on the subject as those from others who have been around longer.

I've voted WHT is #1 hosting forum, but realized that it frequently and unecessarily closes those threads it dislikes. This action is decresing its value for sure, so WHT maybe starts to go down.

I understand your feeling and respect your opinion as well, but myself really don't like the way they close those threads they dislike.

Pointing out the problems some data centers or hosts have is very constructive to this instrustry, forcing them to improve their business and helping others to make better decision in choosing hosting providers.

I sincerely believe WHT can do better to protect hosting customers' interest than Federal Trade Commission of US does.

When people got problem and cannot get response from a hosting vendor, they do need a place to complain. And posting the issue here does help resolve the problem many times. We got over charged by burst.net without any response for quite a while, so I posted a message here and got quick response from Sean of burst.net. Is it good?

It's good for everyone to read those "support" issues, I believe.

So far I think WHT is #1 forum in web hosting business, and hope it's getting better and better, instead of going down, so that I 'm writing this message.

Because, mine says GMT -5 hrs :D

Mine says GMT at the bottom left but i live in London so that sort of makes sense but it is GMT +1 here at the min. BST till October. But what does this have to do with the poll if you dont mind me asking.

I'm a regular member of the Webhostdir forums and I have to say that they are just great!

I'm not going to be taking any sides though to be fair because I really know nothing about WHT! Looks like this is another worthwhile place to hang out
