Hiya,

Can any current venturesonline dedicated server customers comment on vo's weekend/off-hour support, as well as response time to emergency support requests (reboots, etc..)?

We have multiple servers at VO, and they are always right on when it comes to after hours and weekend support. We've never had a problem with a support ticket at 3am on a Saturday. Once we had a network issue and had to wait for their network guy to come in, but other than that its been great. If you are considering them, I would recommend them.

Hey Tom,

I'm looking to move some servers around, and VO is on the short list (they have been for a while, actually). The off-hour support issue is a biggie - lots of people talk about it, but only a small handful seem to actually come through. Anyway...appreciate the reply. Thanks.

No problem. VO is absolutely great company. They are a little more expensive, but it is oftentimes worth it, depending on how much support you need. We have our own techs so we try not to bother them too much unless we need hands on.

i have talked to one of their security guys and he is highly competent. that is one thing that is uncommon in the market, so they get kudos from me for that.
