jolly 08-03-2001, 05:22 AM I want to accept payments via credit cards on my site. How much these companies charges per transactions or monthly.
Can they transfer the money to Indian banks. How much time they take to transfer the money. If you know any company then please let me know in detail about the company and what are the hidden cost of these companies.
sodapopinski 08-03-2001, 06:35 AM stay away from instabill..they did NOT send my money although it must be send to me since 2 months ago.
and I'm getting tired to send an email to them because they not reply my previous emails.
Dedicated 08-03-2001, 07:15 AM You can try
http://www.verza.com/ (not bad to start with)
http://www.worldpay.com
jolly 08-03-2001, 08:08 AM They are charging 30%..................
The Verza charges will be deducted from this sales commision. If your product has a value of USD 100.00 and you settle for a 30% sales commission, you will receive USD 70.00.
Too bad to start..........
But now a days companys are charging 2%-3% and .50c per sale....
www.ecenow.com is good but it don't transfer the money to India I should have account in US.

"If you make the product 'unavailable for others',
other webmasters can not advertise your product.
Then the Verza charges will be deducted from your
product price.".

I always have my check 2 or 3 days after it's send and i'm in Canada. Did you tried to call them?
wbhst 08-03-2001, 01:53 PM Try CCBILL. They're good.
wbhst
neon202 08-03-2001, 02:58 PM worldpay.com the best.
I've dealt with iBill before and their service is pretty good. I have two problems with it though. 1 - they only process cards from US/Canada. They said they're working on accepting other cards, but as far as I know its still the same. 2 - their service fee is rather high (as high as 15%). If you're charging more than $10 you'll be better off with Revecom (www.revecom.com).
Studio-51 08-03-2001, 04:43 PM I have had no problems with worldpay, and a friend who has been doing hosting for a few years recommened them to me.
This is speaking from the UK, so not sure about overseas orders etc tho.
Dedicated 08-03-2001, 06:31 PM I had an account with Verza and did not charge me 30% and changed them to Worldpay and they charge more than Verza but they are a lot better than Verza.

Hello Jolly!
I mean that you have a choice. You can just avoid the
marketing program by checking a box that say:
Make the product 'unavailable for others'.

jolly 08-06-2001, 09:41 AM I sent emails to worldpay and instabill on Thursday and there is no response from there side so far.
What are the charges of worldpay and Instabill? Do they charge monthly or per transaction.
How much time will they take to transfer money to Indian bank accounts.
Chicken 08-06-2001, 09:55 AM I believe the charges for each are listed on the respective sites.
GetMeHosted 08-06-2001, 09:59 AM How about acenet??
Has anyone used them?
Maybe this would be better as a different thread:rolleyes:
sitekeeper 08-06-2001, 12:28 PM I got an email from instabill yesterday; it stated they were not activating any new accounts. I signed up with them 3 weeks ago. I just didn’t start activate my account by adding items to sell until Saturday.
Bob
winquest 08-06-2001, 02:22 PM Instabill has stopped activating new accounts quite some weeks back. You should have received an email upon activation of your account.
Btw anyone here tried getting in touch with Revecom.com? They don't seems to reply to emails very promptly ....

I used Ibill for ages to resell from the uk. They processed cards from just about everywhere.
They are very expensive though.
The advantage is that you can intigrate with them quite well.
jolly 08-07-2001, 08:12 AM I guess there is something wrong with instabill and worldpay. For the last 5 days I am waiting for email.
Is there any company like instabill and worldpay....
I don't have any account in US or UK banks. Please let me know if there are any other companies like worldpay and instabill.
TechnoHosts 08-07-2001, 08:17 AM take a look at acenet-enterprises.net they allow you to host the order form on your site and our about to drop charges. This is who I use.
