I am trying to setup a server to be the secondary DNS. This box has WHM/Cpanel and the primary also has WHM/CPANEL. I tried to "Establish A Trust Relationship With a Primary Nameserver", but it is not working. Every time I add a zone in the secondary server, it says "Created Zone" but it is actually not sending the zone to NS1.
Any suggestions? What is the appropriate way to setup a secondary with WHM/CPanel?
Thanks for your help.
Acually when I now click on "Establish A Trust Relationship With a Primary Nameserver" I get this error: "You have no controlling tty. Cannot read passphrase."
Any ideas?

Bert:
On your primary box, make sure your secondary server's IP address is not in the /etc/hosts.deny file. If it is, remove it.
Now, on the secondary box, go to edit setup in WHM. For primary nameserver, use your primary server's IP address. Save that file.
Next, create a trust relationship with the primary server. This should now give you a success message.
You should now be able to add domains from either server.

Thanks for your help Jack. I tried but still can't get it to work. I checked and the secondary DNS IP is not on the hosts.deny file on the primary server. I also went to "Edit Setup" on the secondary box and entered the IP for the primary DNS there. I then went to create the trust relationship with the primary DNS and I got this message:
spawn scp /root/.sshscript root@207.XX.XX.XX:/root/.sshscript
root@207.XX.XX.XX's password: Sending password
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
stdin: is not a tty
.sshscript 0% | | 0 --:-- ETA
.sshscript 100% |*****************************| 418 00:00
spawn /usr/bin/ssh root@207.XX.XX.XX /bin/sh /root/.sshscript
root@207.XX.XX.XX's password:
stdin: is not a tty
Script ok
all done
its good
Trust Relationship Created!
It still does not work. When I go create a new DNS zone on the secondary it gives me a success message, but it is not creating the zone on the primary :(
Thanks again.

If you got that far and are getting that message, it appears as though all is OK.
WIthout looking at the box, I am afraid that I am out of suggestions. Have you checked with your upstream?
Yeah, I will check with them because when I create a record on the secondary is not sending it to the primary.
Thanks for the try though :)
