Where can I find a good cheap dedicated server that allows adult content? RackShack.net looked good ($100 for 175 GB bandwidth?!) but they don't allow adult content.

What about 4webspace.com? I didn't see the word "adult" or "porn" in their AUP... do they allow adult content? I am concerned about the RaQ3i's ability to handle PHP/MySQL though... and do they still have that stupid packet filter that prevents you from running DNS on their servers?

Any other reliable dedicated server plans people know of that allow adult content? I'm looking for $150 a month or under with at least 50 GB of bandwidth.

I know 4webspace used too allow adult, I assume they still do, I had good service with no problems there.
Another one is Lightspeedservers.net, but I dont know anything about them other than there pricing is very competitive and they allow adult content, I dont know anyone who has used them either. But they are definitely in your price range.

It really all depends on the datacenter you are in. Basically, you should be allowed to have any content you want on a dedicated server, as long as the content is legal. But, there are a few datacenters that don't want the traffic. Quite frankly, if you are running an adult site, you are going to be using bandwidth. And I would think that any decent datacenter would love to have the business. Especially in this day and age of datacenters that are 1/2 filled!

The reason hosts like Rackshack don't want adult content is because they give you 175GB of bandwidth, and their business model assumes that most users will only use a few percent of that.

4webspace also gives you a lot of bandwdith (100GB), so you would assume they'd do the same. However, they still allow their customers to host adult (LEGAL) content. 4webspace/tera-byte seem to have a very good repuation on this forum, and they also don't charge much for additional bandwidth.

Lastly, there's E.Freeserves (www.efreeservers.com). You get the server free, but you have to buy at least 200GB of bandwidth each month.
