Does host companies usually provide only a certain amount of add-on domains?
I want to have more 10 and wondering if host companies charges their customers or not.

You gotta ask your respective company. Most of them does as to prevent users from abusing it.

Spooky. I just finished an email telling a customer why I can't allow him 10 add-on domains on his 4.99 account.
Hosting economics.

Each company will configure their hosting package different, whether it's storage space, domains hosted, databases, mail settings, etc. So to answer your question, many providers do provide a set number of domains hosted, but not any specific number itself.

as stated above it really does depend on the host. The general trend is for a hosting company to set limits for additional domains on shared hosting accounts, but offer unlimited domains on reseller accounts.
when I say "general trend", i dont mean all hosts.

Hi,
Some do not offer these at all, as they prefer you to spend more money on multi accounts or buy a "bulk domain hosting account".
Some, on the other hand, allow them to purchased for additional pricing, some include 1 or a few with each plan and let you purchase more.
As mentioned, ask the host in question. =)
