Hi,
My site is constantly under attack by some hackers, such as DoS attack and other methods. I'm looking for a hosting company that have a top security and can handle any or most attacks. I'm getting tired of moving my site each time from one web hosting to another.
Well depending on budget, http://www.thebunker.net/

I dont think he is talking about physical security of the servers (thebunker) I think hes talking more about the security of the connection and software. You should be able to get about any goo dhost to customize a security policy for you

i read that verio will install DoS filters on the upstream routers to effectively prevent attacks, i saw this at http://www.grc.com in his article about DoS attacks.
so, this datacenter is in a nuclear bunker... what happens if there is an attack? the datacenter stands but all the datalines hooking up the place are destroyed? ;)

Im guessing that its more about preserving the data, not so much keeping it online of there was an attack.

Thank you guys for your feedback, I will look at what you posted here.
it happened to me that in two weeks I get about 2 millions hits and 30 Gig bandwidth, my host company couldn't handle it and closed the site.

I think their bandwidth prices are out of question :(
Security Cost Money
I have found that to get reliable, secure web hosting typically costs a lot more than just getting a co-lo or dedicated server.
I consulted for a major cosmetic company that had similar DoS issues. The filters were installed by the company withing 30 minutes of the attack, which happened about 2:30 AM EST. With no prompts from the web site managers, who were sleeping.
I also consulted for a small furniture store that came under DoS attack hosted by a smaller co-lo facility with bargain rates and inexpensive bandwidth. They were attacked. It took a week to get filters installed and the furniture store had to pay a consultant to do it and the co-lo was not the easiest to deal with.
The difference was the cosmetic company was paying $1000's (average about $4300) of dollars per month for service and bandwidth. The furniture company was paying ~$300/month for co-lo services.
When you don't have a few grand for hosting.
You should try to indentify what type of DoS you suffered. If it was a syn flood, look into syn-cookies or other kernel tweaks to stop this type of attack. I doubt moving to another web host would help. I have dealt with dozens of co-lo facilites and hosting comapanies. Unless, you have a premium plan, I find that getting high-level assistance, e.g. stopping a DoS, is impossible.
I used Online Marketing (www.olm.net) for years. They have highly competent staff and are always willing to help. You should inquire about security issues -- though I wouldn't say your a DoS target, they probably would not want your business then? :stickout

Take a look at: http://www.servervault.com/
We took a tour of their data center before it went online, and they have some very cool ideas about security, and data center protection (including from DOS attacks).
My only concern with them, as with any relatively new hosting company now, is their ability to survive in this market.
