I receive an offer of 10.000 468x60 banner Impressions $500.
That it worth?

10,000 (ten thousand) is not worth for $500!!!!!!! that's 20impressions for $1, which is totally not worth it!
with that you can advertise on yahoo, lol
you'd be better off spending that much money on doubleclick.com or advertising.com and get a much better deal :)

There was just a discussion on this. I think the summary was no. But that was to the Spotlight ad.

If I am reading right, you are getting 10,000 impressions for $500. That is $50 CPM. The most people get off banners is 2% click through. That means 200 clicks - best case. How many of those can you convert to sales on a directory like Top Host?

trust me, $50CPM is not a good deal, last i heard you could've advertised on yahoo for $1CPM,

I believe it would be better for you to buy a showcase spot - banners are only good if you want to promote some special offer or an event - in the showcase you could write many details about your hosting plans and company.
