Hi guys. New here so thought I'd make a posting about our services in the correct place.

Fat Cow Web Hosting offers:

* 100 MB space
* 5 GB transfer
* 100 emails
* Shopping Cart
* Reliable Solaris Servers (Unix)
* FIRST RATE customer service and tech support
* Domain name free for first year

-- All for only $99 / year.

For details, see our plan specifics at http://www.fatcow.com/plan/ .

I can't emphasize enough how important customer service and good tech support is. We have incredible staff here. Yes, I'm a bit biased, admittedly. ;) But I'm also very enthusiastic about the services we offer.

Thanks for taking the time to read.

All the best,

--Jodi

Well, you made me chuckle, guys. Just trying to be polite and everything. Glad you enjoyed it. ;)

Ok... First off, I'm a "she". :) Hi there.

And no, I didn't do the graphics for the site, but the guy who did is a great designer! Sometimes it's nice to just have FUN with a web site, don't you think? The service is a great one, but that doesn't mean we have to be all somber, does it?

Anyway, if you guys have had good/bad/indifferent experiences with the services at Fatcow.com, I'd love to hear about it. Our customer service is second to none and hearing what people like and don't like, is part of what helps us continue to give our customers what they want.

So if you have time, have used our web hosting services and want to talk about it, let me know, ok? Thanks!

All the best,

Jodi,

The website looks refreshingly different and quite unlike the usual
appearance of any webhosting company's site I've seen.

Good effort !

Cheers,

Wishing you success in this promotion.

Maybe you could then call yourself 'fatCASHcow'

Cheers

Catchy enough ;)

But, isn't "Fat Cow" is use as something else?

Jodi K.

Not sure? Would love to hear about it if it is though. Any idea where else it's being used? As long as it's not another web hosting company ;) I think we're pretty safe.

You're probably safe.
I'm pretty sure it was just a sign I saw along side a road once upon a time.

Maybe it was a cow along side a barn :D

Like your site anywho! ;)

Yup. We do advertise. Not sure if any of you have ever tried PC Magazine? If you have, what have your experiences been with the ratio of ad cost to new clients signing up?

I'm just curious.

How much do you guys pay for that 1/4 page of a ad?

Sorry, Synergy. I don't know. I'm not involved in the advertising end of things. I was just sort of asking generally, if folks had had success with PC Magazine and if they thought it was worth it.

Personally I don't find that magazine interesting at all...... Maybe its for the big corporates guys..... All the new technology that was reviewed in that magazine have no interest in me.... I wasted my money subscribing it.

Fatcow is one fine host. I've been with them for years, pitty that I have to leave :bawling:.

As my business grows, their plans are becoming too expensive and less flexible. I host 10+ clients with them and at $99.00 a pop, it is $1,000.00 a year for a total of 50 GB bandwidth and 1 GB space. Elsewhere, many reseller accounts cost about $30-$45 per month for that kind of package and I can host all my clients buy signing up for 1 reseller account.

During the last 2 months I have signed up another 10 clients, but could not afford the Fatcow cost which can add up to 2 grand per year for 20 low traffic websites.

I truly regret leaving such fine company.

BTW, on the topic of the PC Magazine, that's how I found the Fatcow a couple years back.

James, Did you notice that this offer is nearly two years old?

I think we'll just lock this, as I'm sure it's no longer valid.
