I need to know who is the best. Support and speed are my primary concerns.

I *need*:

1GB of storage
30GB/month transfer, WITHOUT LIMITATIONS OR CAPS.
PHP / MySQL / Perl / CGI (preferably unlimited databases but at least 5-10)
Anonymous FTP
Daily Backup
Subdomains (around 5 is okay, unlimited is better)
Numerous POP3 Accounts + Forwarders

And I would REALLY like some sort of control panel preferably CPanel3.

Thanks.

I can spend up to 40-50 a month on this, maybe higher if the service is REALLY good. Thanks.

Here's an offer I did get that interested me:

1200 Megabytes of Disk Space
40 Gigabyte of data transfer
250 POP Email Accounts
unlimited autoresponders
unlimited email aliases
unlimited email forwarders
100 Sub Domains
100 ftp accounts
10 MySQL Databases
PHP4.06+PERL+CGI
99.8% Uptime Guarantee

Monthly Price $90

I can afford 90/month I guess, if the quality is good. But I need to know if this a good deal for 90. Anyone?

rackshack.net :)

they give you a cobalt raq 4i for $99 / monthly

i've never used them personally, but i've heard some good things about them... (but also heard that their support is not super fast, but should have no big problems)

there's a one time setup fee of $250
and it comes with 20GB of space and 175 gb of transfer :)

Are you looking for a 1-domain hosting account or one large account to resell space? RackShack is good (considering the price) if you don't have lots of high traffic scripts running.

That RackShack deal is awesome. Is there any catch to it? The setup fee is kinda pricy for me but I think I could handle it if I knew the service, speed and such was excellent.

The only scripts we run are NewsPro, and some PHP/MySQL scripts.

Would MySQL scripts work on their servers?

i don't think there's any catch to it... rackshack's had that out for a while and i think its a pretty good deal...

do a search on the forums for rackshack - you'll find some posts with people's experience with rackshack... i heard from a friend that its not TOO bad even if you aren't familiar at all with RAQs... he just comes here to ask questions if he can't get something to work or whatever :)
