what do you think about MODHOST.. I'm thinking to buy plan5.. so i just want to know r they god or not..?

99.9% uptime.. what does thet mean..! 0,1 down time how many houts is that...

Last time i have been hosting my site on www.MediaTemple.net and thay r the best web hosting experiance i ever had.. but they r really expencive..

i never had down time experiance with mediateple.net 1y. except 20min.. because of server atack..

I don't think Media Temple is expensive at all. If you are recieving good service from them, stay with them.

It means nothing unless they have a guarantee in place which offers you compensation if they are not up for 99.9% of time.

Its easy to say "99.9% Uptime" but not many places seem to reach it or compensate when they do not reach it.

btw... what do you think abut modhost.. i like > MySQL (unlimited databases) <wich (mt) doesent has.. i had only one mySQL db.. and ulimited tables..

Well this is the only thread about them here and the domain was only registered a few months ago. Seems like they are reasonably new and nobody here will be able to give an opinion based on experience.

I don't think your current host is that expensive, if you're happy there then it's worth it, you wont always get such good uptime or support if you look at hosts in a lower price range.

If a major factor in considering to move is that you only have one database, perhaps speak to your host, explain that you're happy there and want to stay but managing with a single database is a little aquard, they might work something out for you, plans are never set in stone, they can be flexible to an extent :)
