Anyone have anything good or bad to say about ukfast.net for reseller packages?

I think they've gone off song over the last few weeks.

Also I also don't like the way they keep their reseller pricing private - prices generally are coming down but mine stayed the same on renewal - it makes me wonder if I'm a victim of legacy pricing.

I'd be interested in other experiences.

I managed to get the info on their reseller packages, but for extras (like Index Server Catalogues for site search facilities) they seem very unsure what they can offer, let alone what the price is!!

Doesn't altogether surprise me. Some features on their site have been "coming soon" for months and months.

I've renewed my bronze reseller package with them. I'd be very interested in the current rate (£x for y Mb) if you feel able to disclose it.

Reseller Services leaflet says £199 Bronze, £479 Silver and £1999/2499 Gold ;)

I did pay £199 for the bronze, got 100Mb, + £30 per virtual server.

JollyJohn - what's your experience been like with UKfast.net on the whole? Is the control panel useful?

Cheers,

What is there works if you don't want too many forwards, but I have found them a bit flakey recently. E.g. logs were temporarily disabled without notice because of problems on the new unix server we'd just had to move our sites to, and seem to have come back on this afternoon 8/8, a gap of some 2 weeks.

I get the feeling their people are a bit stretched.

£199 for 100Mb + £30 per virtual server [is this still the formula?] is not cheap, and I am looking at www.seem.co.uk and www.netweaver.co.uk.

If you want a more professional package (i.e. more like UKfast's Silver option), you could try IARNA (www.iarna.co.uk (http://www.iarna.co.uk) ) or Netcetera (www.inetc.net (http://www.inetc.net) )...

I moved from Fasthosts to <<EDIT>> and they seem pretty good, i dont think their controlpanel is totally finished, but the hosting accounts are good and reliable and price aint bad.
