View Full Version : Who is deleting my posts?
Exthost 07-26-2003, 02:40 PM Who the hell keeps deleting my posts for no reason at all. I write a huge paragraph recommending a host when someone asks if it is reliable and all of a sudden it is gone. I rewrote it too. Then I check again in an hour nd it is GONE.
What the hell is wrong here? Is there some crazy messed up modderator? I cant take it.
sitekeeper 07-26-2003, 02:49 PM I know of no crazy messed up moderators here. Crazy maybe for putting up with all the bull, but not messed up. I suggest you read all the rules carefully and your posts won't vanish, unless the entire thread was inappropriate.
blue27 07-26-2003, 02:49 PM Perhaps you better change your tone a litte. If your posts are being deleted it's because the mods deleted it. You have obviously broken forum rules. A more mature way of dealing with it would be to email the mods and wait for a reply instead of this kind of post.
SoftWareRevue 07-26-2003, 02:56 PM Maybe you should contact moderators with the link found at the bottom of every page.
Incognito 07-26-2003, 03:00 PM A couple more threads like this one and you will no longer have to worry about getting your posts deleted.

Not under the current username anyways. :D
SoftWareRevue 07-26-2003, 03:01 PM I see a door in your future. It seems someone emailed you earlier as to why your posts were removed.
Exthost 07-26-2003, 03:05 PM I scanned the rules over and over though. I mean normaly when I post i braking the rules. I mod will edit it and say why is is braking the rules. This happend 2 times and yes I red all the rules over. So I am a bit confused. Which mod should I PM?
[EDIT] That is the 4th time. I read all the rules. I made sure it was in the right forum. It was no offensive in any way. What do you guys have against me? I never ment any harm. Please help!

Incognito 07-26-2003, 03:12 PM SWR writes Maybe you should contact moderators with the link found at the bottom of every page. You write Which mod should I PM?
Darn...SWR is fast for an old man...beat me to it. Or maybe I'm just older...
Exthost 07-26-2003, 03:14 PM Someone emailed me about 6 days ago telling me why 1 post was removed.
This doesnt explain why the other 4 are gone. All in the same topic!
I am contacting the mods I will get back here in a little

D-All the Above I have to go with "A" because with "A" he would not understand "B" or "C"! IMHO :D
DarktidesNET 07-26-2003, 03:45 PM I'm sure there were valid reasons behind it, just email the moderators.
There's better things to do than single out individual users....
Exthost 07-26-2003, 04:37 PM I mailed SWF I hope that is the last deleted post i get. AAnd why wont the mod come forward and tell me who he is so I can ask him my self?
Well, if you emailed SWF, you might be waiting a while for a reply... :emlaugh:

Incognito 07-26-2003, 04:49 PM I shall not attempt to contact the moderators by posting in a thread, by e-mailing them, or by pm'ing them. The only accepted means of contacting them is by clicking on the link at the bottom of each page which says, "Moderators".
The only exception to this is to report a post. To do that I click on the link which says "Report this post to a moderator".
Let us know when you have written it 1,000 times, Bart.
Exthost 07-26-2003, 05:18 PM Ok I emailed them. Lets keep this thread open and I will get back here with the resault :)
Coach 07-26-2003, 05:36 PM I've seen a couple of cases where an entire thread was removed that you had posted in, but you hadn't violated any rules. Your posts were deleted in those cases because the threads themselves were removed... i.e. the thread starter did something wrong.
There was another where you and several other people were involved in criticizing an offer, which is against the rules in the ad forums.
Those were the only ones I saw.
Exthost 07-26-2003, 05:42 PM I am talking about the, "www.bestreseller.com???" one. I posted that I would recommend then and only my post was deleted. I posted it again but deleted again. And again and again lol.
It is insane!
