They say only $7.77 a month and no setup fee with 12gig transfer and 100MB space and they have a phone# and address would that be real and not hosting ran by 12 year olds like other places?

Anybody got experience with this host? Do they fraud ppl and take their money and run away? But if they do fraud me they only fraud the $7.77 away....

Everything sounds normal EXCEPT the 12 gb's of transfer.

There hoping that the people who buy those packages are the low end users, and won't use all of that bandwidth:D

They are new but they have invested a lot in to their company. Every where you go you see their ads.
I am sure 12 GB is a little too much and may lead to over crowded and slow servers.

You are kidding right? I mean do you really believe that they can deliver 12 GB for $7.77?

This is clear. They are overselling and overselling is the key to success in this industry. It is just that one has to be careful not to oversell the entire business away :D

No server can withstand 300 to 500 accounts pulling 12 GB each nonetheless no pocket can absorb the cost of 12 GB of bandwidth for just under $10.00/month.

bert, why are you arguing? I am saying 12 GB for that price is too much. You are saying the same thing therefore there should not be any argument

Sorry kickster. I am not arguing. I just haven't had a good day today. That's all. :(

Sorry if I was rude.

It also makes me wander how can someone sell so much bandwidth for so little money

They either lose money on the accounts (they are a big company) or they are overselling and most of their users are not using too much bandwdith.

powweb: a friend has a website with them and has no complaints.

FYI, bert and kickster, http://www.tera-byte.com offers 20gb for $9.25 per month.

tera byte may offer 20 GB but can their raq4 handle 50 accounts that use up 20 GB? I say no way. My raq cant even handle a banner script!

lol :D

I have two RaQs. They can't handle more than about 80 to 100 GB/month max. That is pushing them big time.
