Freaking Catalyst2 down yet again.....2nd time this week........bitch bitch bitch.....

So what do you achieve by posting this here?

Agreed... is there a reason why they're down? Have they told you why - whether it's server upgrades or otherwise? What attempts have you made to contact them about this, and what response have you received from them about this downtime? :cool:

I'm on their server too.
This was unannounced downtime, appears to have been down nearly 12 hours at this stage. They haven't responded to my contact yet.
Apparently the forum and ticket system they use is also run on the linux server, which makes contacting them difficult.

As for the question about what has been achieved by posting, my only reason for posting would be to have it recorded in a public forum so that people looking at catalyst2 as a possible host will see that this has happened.

It went down at midnight.

The really annoying thing is they don't send mails out to clients to let them know of downtime - they are totally uncontactable. Even WHOIS information doesn't display a telephone number.

If anybody has a contact telephone number could you PM it to me please?

Uptime for July is 97.432% - hardly a great service.
