I'm new to pleak here, I'm used to cobalt.

When I create a new domain where will please create the directory?? I have just created the domain www.certifyexpress.com by default cobalt default is /home/sites/www.certifyexpress.com/web/


So where will plesk create the directory.

It should be:

/usr/local/plesk/apache/vhosts/certifyexpress.com/httpdocs

I can't seems to ftp to this directory. I set the IP address to 209.217.52.118 but when I tried to FTP it says connection refuse.

Any ideas?

Where did it stop?

Try manually enter the username and password.

It's a new server which it setup 3 days ago by catalog.com, somehow after creating the client -> domain -> hosting. After that I tried to ftp but it keep saying connection refused.

Can you try login again with an FTP client and "copy&paste" the log or error status onto this board?

I want to see what the log says.

Lets see the checklist, Are you sure

1) You have created the client,then domain and the status is not to OFF,
Make sure its on ON

2) After creating domain you have gone into hosting and entered username and password there.
IT accepts only 8 characters username when you make ftp user , Just in case you have confused bcos normally peopl have ftp username same as that of a domain which can be longer than 8 chars

If you want you can just manually add a user through the shell prompt and see if you are able to telnet into the same, Making sure wuftp is working fine , Else shoot a mail to catalog
