They are a host that I have and will continue to recommend to my friends. I have been with them for several months and am very happy with the service that I have received thus far. I would recommend them to anyone with a low volume site. I say low-volume only because their pricing is not the best for sites that need, say, 10 gigs of transfer per month, but for a smaller site like mine (I use well under a gig of transfer per month), they are ideal. I get excellent service and I don't wind up paying for tons of resources that I'll never use. -joe MattF 07-31-2001, 08:15 PM What proof do you have that our HostSearch comments are biased??? By the sound of it I don't think he was referring specifically to your company's reviews on HostSearch, I think he was making a general comment on the accuracy and integrity of many of the reviews posted on HostSearch. AH-Tina 07-31-2001, 08:22 PM Yes, but if he's saying HostSearch reviews "in general" then that must include our reviews....which I take offense to. As I said, one of the most important things to me is customer service - because I have had several of my own horrible experience with hosts. I know that the number one complaint is bad customer service...just look through alot of posts @ WHT! I think that customers can tolerate just about anything (not that I think it's okay to provide a bad service!) - IF the company provides good customer service and keeps them informed. Anyway, I don't think its fair for him to devalue our HostSearch reviews by saying that they're "in general" biased. This isn't worth a fight at all because from all posts i've seen about affordable host, I can tell you that they seem pretty good. en 08-01-2001, 07:19 AM i didn't mean your company (AffordableHost) in particular - i'm sure you are a great company... it's just that a lot of the reviews for different companies that have a bad reputation here have totally amazing reviews on hostsearch that seem a bit "too amazing"... |
