Dear all,

I have to move from Godaddy since it bans some countries due to some unknown reason. I have no problem with transferring .com domains since many many registrars are ready to receive them. But I do have a difficulty in finding a registrar who receives transfers of .ws domains, at reasonable price of course.

So I would very much appreciate any recommendation from you on the matter.

Thanks so much

I guess that those that do offer transfers of .ws domain names, just haven't checked if transfers are possible. Here's what the .ws-registry told me about this subject on 20/5/2003:

Unfortunately, .WS domains cannot be
transferred between registrars.

it seems like what you need is a GoDaddy reseller in who's account you can push these domain names.

Thank you so much bNamed! Do you know the name of any reseller of Godaddy, tell me please!

My guess would be that there are some GoDaddy resellers in here... If you don't get a response from one of them within a reasonable amount of time, you might want to start a new treath with a subject telling everyone you're looking for a GaDaddy reseller...

so if you register a .ws and you're not glad of the registrar, you're stuck with it unless you use some trick ?

It's weird that the .ws ccTLD people don't accept transfers between registrars. I can't see the use of such a rule.

So if you want a .ws better register with a reliable registrar from the first time. You could go directly to the .ws ccTLD site, or a reliable registrar (best not the cheapest ones, as their additional services are often quite weak)

The only place you can transfer it is to the registry.
