Hi,

I came across 7hosted.com (http://www.7hosted.com ) a while ago and I'm especially impressed by their affiliate program. However, I have not heard of them before and couldn't find anything in Google.com.

Has anyone here heard of these guys? Do you have experience using them? I'm a little suspicious since they claim to pay $50 per referral for virtual hosting and $300 for server referrals, which seems like very high commissions considering many of the packages do not cost as much as that.

If anyone can shed some light on them for me, I'd really appreciate it! ;-)

I am not hosted by them, nor have I ever heard of them before. Though it seems like you cant find much information about them, so I will try to help.

Domain was registered on 10-nov-2002 so they couldn't have been in business for more than a year. However, since nothing is found on them in google I would assume they have been in the hosting business for a very short time.

When I called the phone was answered, but by the way it was answered it seems like a home phone. All their numbers point to the same number, or its always the same person who picks up.

Not sure if any of that helps, but its better than nothing.

Have you searched the board? I mean if anyone has heard of them it would most likely be on this board someplace. Do a "google" search and try to dig up info on them. You will have to do some searching. But maybe someone will answer your post who has not written anything about them...

If you would've taken the time to search for them yourself you would have found that there is basically no information on them.

Though by searching I was able to get this:

It provides good contact info (instant messangers).

these kind of people always seem extremely fishy, even if it is a misunderstanding or sorts.
