Would a 4x DVD+RW/+R Drive w/CD-RW drive burn CDs at just 4x also, or does the 4x only apply to DVD burning?

DVD burns are rated differently than CD, I believe that 4X is 6000K in CD burn ratings At any rate a 4X burner will take about 20 mins to burn a 4.7 gig DVD. Depending on maker of DVD burner the burn rate for a regular CD is usually around 24X

My 4x dvdr burner will burn cdr's at up to 16x. Which is just still too slow for me. I use my 40XTDK for cd burning still. :D

DVD with cd rate are difference speed at time,and also depend on speed of blank cd
