We are planning to do a ecommerce site for one of our customer. Just wondering which shopping cart, payment gateway, stat analysis, customer management,etc scripts to use. Our client will be selling software (mostly download). Any recommendations for a complete solution will be very much appreciated.

I think a decent cart is commerce-cgi

It does the job, and integrates well....

commerce.cgi seem interesting enough. but i would prefer to go for php/mysql combination.

Take a look at phpshop (http://www.phpshop.org). Looks like a good PHP cart.

i am currently looking at the shopping cart at http://sourceforge.net/projects/tep. Thinking of using worldpay as the payment gateway. The only reason for using worldpay is because they have a physical office here in Singapore. Does anyone has any problems with worldpay? Any comments on using the exchange project's shopping cart? Pls comment....Any feedback will be very much appreciated.
