Im starting start a personal web server, I have redhat 7.3, p2 400, 128ram. Looking on the mysql site what version do I need (eg server, standard, x86..)?

MySQL-4.. but I think MySQL-3 will be better on redhat 7.3.

I mean what type there are loads of diff types of mysql 4 and 3 for linux

there is only 2 for windows.:confused:

standard x86 is what I would use

max has a bunch of extra stuff that you probably won't use
