Ok I have a server running FreeBSD and every once in a while it will drop its internet connection. Everything is fine and then wham its gone off the net. The box is still up and running because some ping packets get thru. After about 10minutes it seems to be back to normal, sometimes longer. Any ideas???

This is just a shot in the dark, check and see if you have power management enable.

Check the bios and also check to see if a process called "apmd" (if it is a linux box) is running....
