Third party billing companies charge as much as 10% to 15% and keep 15% in reserve for 6 months. Thanks God they send the remaining money.

I just visited e-gold.com . It deducts just 1%. But the customer has to open an account with e-gold like in paypal. That is also not the big problem.

My question is, what is the easiest way which I can tell my customer step by step to transfer $50 to my e-gold account. Which third part merchant should I ask them to use?

Is there any system by which customer just enter his card # and the equivalent gold is transfered to my account?

The card has to be processed, you are attempting to skip this part and it doesn't really work that way. Even a full merchant account has per transaction fees and a discount rate.

Sure, merchant accounts have transaction fees and discount rates but they are substantially cheaper than third party processors. One of my customers asked me for advice on a third party processor that charges $1 per transaction plus a 10% discount rate. That is outrageous. If you go the extra mile and can afford the setup fee you can get a merchant account with a $0.30 transaction fee and a 2.35% discount rate.

I have used ProPay in the past (http://www.propay.com). It costs you $.35 per transaction, and I think the discount rate is around 3.9%. Plus, they'll deposit to a personal bank account.

I have investigated a lot about e-gold and I have come to the conclusion that it is impossible to get payments through e-gold. They don't have even a single merchant serious in accepting credit cards.

I think if your transaction is of greater amount like $50 or $100, then Revecom is near to "own merchant account". Propay is not International.

But I can't figure out how companies like ibill are surviving. They charge 15% plus 10% rolling amount for 6 months plus issue a very easy simple charge back to the clients. Not only fraudulent charges, but also to the people who just click a button on their web site.

One of my customers hosted his site for 7 months on my server. And without any reason he went to ibillcs.com and got the charge back for whole 7 months. I left ibill at this incident but its something which card companies like this should consider seriously. Infact ibill has a big banner on their site stating that "Get a charge back" ..." Please Cancel your Tansactions" .

The good thing in e-gold is that a customer cannot get a charge back. But the bad thing is that customers can't pay.
Hope to see some better solutions in near future!

It is unless the customer wants no setup fees and no monthly fees for the service (usually due to low levels of charges at first). It doesn't make sense if you are doing volume, only for smaller startups who need a way to accept orders via the web (it might not be their primary method of sales), etc.
