I'm new to this, so any help is appreciated! slade 07-28-2001, 07:15 PM What's the matter inoverse? Rackshack spanking your hand because you advertise "Unmonitored" bandwidth on all you accounts? inoverse 07-28-2001, 08:35 PM Actually, no they aren't slade. But thanks for the concern. UmBillyCord 07-28-2001, 11:06 PM What's the matter inoverse? Rackshack spanking your hand because you advertise "Unmonitored" bandwidth on all you accounts? Now thats funny. I though you were joking. A host advertising "Unmonitored" bandwidth looking for bandwidth monitoring/limiting software. :cartman: inoverse 07-29-2001, 10:06 AM well, it kind of makes sense does it not? I mean right now I have no way to monitor the bandwidth, so I advertise unmonitored. I am looking for bandwidth limiting software so I can limit the bandwidth. I don't know why that doesn't make sense. slade 07-29-2001, 01:38 PM <goodguy> It doesn't not make sense. It makes perfect sense. You're saying that rackshack doesn't provide you with a monitoring service. If you have a ded. server, that's perfectly ok. However, to keep them from raping you in bandwidth costs, you do need to keep an eye on your resold accounts. Understandable by anyone with IQ >Shang. </goodguy> But if I were a customer, I would not be happy to see my unmonitored account turn into a limited bandwidth account. Be careful about how you implement this, it could bite you in the pocketbook. |
