We use a T-1 connection." Or am I misunderstanding that. If everyone on one host comp (let's just say 350 sites) used there 1 MBPS, they'd suck a base 100 connection dry. THen, if your site had streaming media and five people accessed a 256KBPS video stream, they'd exceed your limit. well... 1) a host using a T1 doesn't automatically suck. if it's a small place and only handles small sites it wouldn't be a problem. 2) I don't know any host or website that would be dumb enough to run a site with 256KBPS streams on a 1mb/s line! |
