If I start as a reseller for enom and then I decide to switch to the etp program may I bring all my domains and my customers to this program easily?
Has anyone ever done this?
Your help is truly apreciated!

i am not sure if they will transfer over subaccounts. You may want to email them about that. I thought I read they cannot do this anymore.

just create all the new subaccounts under your new account and push the domains using list utility... I did the same way...

I am considering buying a reseller account from someone on WHT or eBay and I wanted to ask a few questions first. Before I do, you should know that I plan to become an ETP in the future, but 6.95k is a bit much now. So here goes:
1. Is my price guaranteed to remain at $6.95 forever?
2. If not, then how much can the price increase, and what other bad things can happen if I choose the wrong ETP?
3. If I buy this reseller account, and later choose to enter the ETP program for 6.95K$US, can I move my customers over to my ETP account, or do I lose them?
4. I have my own DNS services at my host, so can I qualify for the "name only accounts"?
description here: (from http://www.enom.com/resellers/default.asp?featurename=599#599 ) "Name Only" Accounts - $5.99 domain name registrations account. A popular choice for large quantities of names which don't need any DNS services (such as defensive registrations).
5. Can I use my own credit card processing (2checkout or paypal) along with something linke DRAMS to avoid the enom cc fees?
I know this is a lot of questions, but I need to know if this would make business sense for me or I should just start out as an ETP.
Kind Regards,
Jamil

Yes, I think you'll sign a contract with enom with the prices in it.

If you have no domains, he can delete your account. Nothing's worse than that.

Domains can be moved, sub-accounts can't unless they agree to do it for you.

No. You can't even set the DNS.

Yes.

Choose a good ETP, find out more about the sub-resellers thing (email enom).
Jamil, I have already answered all your questions by e-mail (before you posted the same questions here at WHT). You don't trust me? :)
