First of all does any know of any simple script to do a status breakdown of server services. I.e FTP, Mail etc. Or since our server uses WHM/Cpanel anyone know how it would be possible to get teh information from that page onto a server status page?

Just click service status in WHM and it will show you what you want. Otherwise, try the following script:
