I am looking to work on gameservers ( Half-life ) and shoutcast servers

I have been working with Half Life gameservers for over a year, i know every detail, and i have my own custom coded server that uses less resources. I can install, and provide support for any mod or addon.

I can also setup/modify shoutcast servers

contact me if you need any help, and to discuss a price

OK sir, I have enough experience with such things to know that you have no such "custom" coded server. hlds is MUCH too complicated to custom coded server, especially with things like VAC now in action.

Unless if you explain the details about it....

HLDS is open source, there fore, i removed the frames calculations, and other useless cycles, if you would like to see the source code, i would be more than happen to show you it, and show you a working copy

plus, vac, and any other things, are addons, which are not part of the dedicated server ENGINE. i have a custom coded engine

Can your custom thingamajig run VAC, or is it essential that it be turned off?

If you're telling the truth, you may have more of a market (read: big) if you try and sell that to companies like recongamer. :)

CSD--just wanted to let you know that when you use Invision board to power your site, you're required to have the copyright notice on every page that uses it (you currently don't have it on the IBF-powered portal pages).

xie: Yes, it can run any addon available, i run it on my home server and it runs 10 addons currently

nacs: thanks for notifying me, ill put the copyright on asap

Uh, nacs, what pages are you refering to, ever page of the forums has the copyright, and the main page of my site was coded by my PHP coder, and only uses IPB as a backbone. Does that really need the copyright?

Yes I was surprised as you when I found out about this requirement also but this is the general consensus from the development team over at IBF--any page (in addition to the forum) that uses IBF code as a backend (through SSI or through one of the many IBF portal mods) must have the copyright unless you pay them for the upgrade.

I think it's a fair requirement.

Thanks.
