hello, I've a problem. I'd like to start with a new project which will be sort of auction... but also sort of "power shopping" (as letsbuyit.com does).

my question is:

i want that every user who wants to buy the article, has to leave it's credit card number as soon the user registers. and only than, as soon as the "auction" is finished he should be charged the amount.

i know, users will never leave there credit card for fun... but... please try to help me by answering this question :-)


how would this be possible in an automatic way? let's say 20 users bid for one article.... therefore i want to know their credit cards and save them somewhere. which company will do this for me? i do not want to save (of course not) so many credit card data on my server). do you think (like i am) this would be really hard to make... a company (credit card processing company) able to do this?
