Well, to name my new server, should i get an anonymous domain? Right now, the server would be named name.american-hosting.net, would it be better like name.xxxxx.com (xxxxx being a short name)? Just like VO.

If you plan on hosting resellers on the server, I'm sure many of them would appreciate it. You run the risk of looking like reseller yourself though. Not that that's a bad thing, but some people might be confused.
