Very nice. If you made a basic template with a banner ad system and really easy news script (possibly grab sports headlines automatically from another site). Then I think It could be a big hit.

Why not build the traffic on it yourself over the next couple of years and then try and sell it for some serious profit? :)

Only problem I can see is the .ca part, means you can only sell to a Canada resident?

If you develop this as a site just about Canadian sports then your users are more targeted and more valuable. It also would be easier to build (concentrating on Canada and not the whole world) and would be easier to build up traffic. If you start working had now you could have something really good built up by the next Olympics.

Not meant to be rude, but since you ask for appraisal:

First off, the word "olympic" is a registered trademark owned by IOC (International Olympic Committee). And there were more than a handful UDRP decided cases against olympic-related domain names; you may want to run a search on that. This would significantly compromise your chance of reselling or its price if it sells at all, to say the least.

Secondly, your registration of a dot-ca domain name might be a bit shaky itself since I do not see the filed registrant meeting the Canadian Presence Requirements at:

http://www.cira.ca/en/doc_Registration.html

Thanks for pointing this out to me. I wasn't aware. I've already contacted the International Olympics Committee, hopefully there will won't be any problems.
