I sold some a domain on Ebay.co.uk. Unfortunetley an american bought it this leaves me in the **** with paypal. I cant use that because i dont own a Visa/Mastercard or any other kind of card apart from my British Solo card which i cant use abroad.

So how can i recieve payment? I heard of wire transfers but im unsure as of how to do this my bank halifax.co.uk) and how much it would charge. Any ideas?

Use an international money order (its sorta like a cheque) just get him to get one from his bank (it will be in GBP) then get him to send it.
Then get it sent via air mail.. should take a week tops.

Yes, make him send a check. Wire transfer is usually about $40!

Western Union?

I would recommend you to use moneygram.
They money will arrive to you within hours.
But not all banks support moneygram.

I really hate wire transfer, there is a fee on every end so I end up paying $50 for a transfer.. grrr
